Welcome, Friends!
Well, it’s been a quiet winter, but now that spring has sprung and hockey’s done, the Gapland Rollers will soon be gearing up for their third season!
The Gapland Rollers are a roller derby league based out of Rocanville, Saskatchewan (population: 1000). Don’t be mistaken, though. We may be small, but we are mighty! Over the past two seasons, the Gapland girls have strapped on their skates to bout against teams from Moose Jaw and Swift Current, as well as ‘B’ travel teams from both Saskatoon and Regina. We may not have traffic lights, but we’ve sure got talent, dedication and determination!
Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for information on how you can become part of the fastest-growing women’s sport on the planet! In addition to our 19+ women’s league, the Juniors are always looking for more girls between the ages of 10 – 18.
The Gapland Rollers are also on the lookout for referees, if keeping skaters safe is more your thing! There’s a place in this sport for everyone, and we can’t wait to see YOU this season!
